Prep time: 3 min
Cook time: 0 min
Yields: 2 servings

Ingredients

1 (12 fl. oz.) * can NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping plus additional for drizzle
4 teaspoons NESCAFÉ TASTER'S CHOICE French Roast 100% Pure Instant Coffee Granules 1 cup very hot water (slightly less than boiling)

Instructions

MICROWAVE evaporated milk and ice cream topping in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 2 minutes or until very hot. Carefully pour mixture into blender; cover. Blend on high for 1 minute or until very frothy on top.

PLACE 2 teaspoons coffee granules into each 12-ounce coffee mug. Add 1/2 cup hot water to each mug; stir. Gently pour milk mixture into each mug, spooning foam on top. Thinly drizzle foam with ice cream topping, if desired.

* NOTE: May use NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Lowfat or Fat Free Milk instead of Evaporated Milk.

COOKING TIP: Substitute caramel topping with other ice cream topping flavors, such as chocolate or strawberry.

This saves me a lot of time and money! I no longer need to go to an expensive coffee shop for gourmet-quality coffee drinks! Try other ice cream toppings for flavor variation.

I made this for myself a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about how good it tasted. I can't wait to make it for my friends.

This tasted very good. I look forward to trying it with chocolate. Mine did not look as pretty as Nestle's picture.

Excellent! Great taste and a fast 'special' recipe for drop-by guests during this cold Pacific Northwest holiday season!

I substituted brewed coffee for the instant, since I always have it on hand. I make brewed coffee and I grind my own beans. I always use Columbia style beans and this worked perfectly with the recipe!!

Fantastic taste and good nutritional value using fat-free milk and many flavors. Used sugar-free syrups for the different flavors and still tasted excellent!

This recipe is good, but I think it would be better with a different flavor of topping. The next time I'm gonna try chocolate. My son liked it.

Since I love lattes, but feel guilty "indulging" very often at a coffee shop, this is the perfect recipe/ solution....um,'Godsend', for me!

I used a mint coffee with chocolate ice cream topper and it was fantastic. The original recipe was wonderful, too.

A wonderful way to cap off a dinner party. Some even preferred it to homemade apple pie dessert. Oh my!

WOW! This is so wonderful! We have done it by this recipe and then added almond extract one time and then pecan paste and have stayed with that to make it a turtle type of drink...I is so good! We just add either hot fudge or choco. syrup drizzeled on the top and whoohoo!!!!

This is a great drink and I love serving it for family and friends. It is so creamy and rich. It seems so real; I catch myself making the hissing sounds in the kitchen.
